  1. Better than video games!
    Quality

We had went to the beach this year and my husband surprised me with an early birthday present of this camera. Well of course I loved it and used it but my 13 year old son has took it away from me. And if you have kids this age you know how hard it is to get them away from screens and video games. He loves it. He comes home, does his homework and out the door he goes with the camera. I love it too. Not just because it is a really great camera and I've not found a Nikon I didn't love but the best present is seeing my son discovering a whole new world with it. That's the best .
  2. Easy to use out of the box for a beginner!
    Quality

Easy to use, but can easily grow into it. Pictabridge works great for sending photos to my phone and also using the phone as a remote! I was fabbergasted how easy it was.
  3. I have D5600, my mistake
    Quality

Yes, it is fast and light and it has some good features. If you intend to point and shoot, it's great. But for that you don't need to pay so much. WiFi,Bluetooth and remote shooting are a killer. SnapBridge,WiFi,Bluetooth are a joke and a headache. Nice touch the screen and it has some good features, but this camera is more headache than a solution. This is the camera that convinced me to sell all my Nikon gear even at half price and look for other solutions. Very disappointing. Maybe high end Nikon are good. If so, Nikon should stick producing only that.
  4. More updates needed
    Quality

The D5600, like the D5500 before it is a good camera with a great sensor. The lightweight body is awesome, and the deep grip makes it very comfortable to use. It's not much of an upgrade from it's predecessor, however, and it's a shame Nikon is still releasing cameras in 2017 that don't have 4K video. To help compete with the numerous mirrorless camera options available today, Nikon should also really consider adding in-body image stabilization (IBIS) to it's fleet of DSLR's. This is a highly
  5. Great first camera.

I am new to photography and this was my first DSLR. I did a Udemy course on photography before purchasing so I was familiar with the basic concepts. I have to say I am in love with this camera and I am loving my new hobby.
