- Excellent value, stable video, great for travelThis works way better than I expected! YouTube videos did not give enough credit for the value provided. I use Sony Movie Edit from my phone to stabilize video and adjust how much it crops. Using the Sigma 16mm the resulting video is extremely smooth like it was on a gimbal.
- Pro level picture at a prosumer priceWhat a deal. Once paid twice as much when I got the a6500 a few years ago and this one has the same exact sensor and a flip screen. I understand that the build quality isn’t quite as good (plastic as opposed to metal) but that’s not really the point here. If you’re looking for a more professional build quality then you’re going to want to go up and get a full frame A series camera anyways. This in my opinion is the best prosumer camera on the market.
- Excellent value and qualityGreat camera. Was so happy to see this back in stock. I paired it with a Sigma 16mm lens and it’s awesome. Great for video making and an excellent value for the cost. Going to get another to film multiple angles.
- Great budget camera with interchangeable lenses!!Great camera for the price. Sony has always made a great camera and this one is one of the best budget models out there with changeable lenses. I use it primarily for video and it does a fairly descent job. I really chose this one because it has the Catalyst Browse stabilization feature. It works ok but crops a lot in the process.
- Big punches, small packageWhat to say about this except this is exactly what someone needs for an easy streaming camera and one for on the go. Its clean, decently easy setup, had some minor problems hooking it up and having it all function at once. It also is a great camera for anyone that just needs something simple.
