- Good Upgrade From Sony Kit LensRecently purchased a Sony ZV-E10 and wasn't too satisfied with the lens the camera came with being the Sony 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6. Turns out that lens was broken and has since been sent to sony for repair. In the meantime i started looking for a new camera lens and came across the Sigma 18-50mm. This lens produces really sharp and crisp videos and works quite well with the auto focus Sony cameras come with. This lens also works quite well in lower light conditions in my experience. One thing to note about this lens is that the W and T rocker on your camera will not control your zoom, the lens itself will need to be manually adjusted. Lens is also not too heavy and fits nicely in company with smaller camera bodies.
- Recommend lens .This lens is awesome . It's size and weight is portability and light. A go to lens for landscape, portrait as well as street photography. At f2.8 it can handle low light situations . Picture and videos are unbelievably sharp. Auto focus is smooth . Bokeh separates it's subject and background beautifully. recommended . Using this on my ZVE10 . It's just perfect for travel .
- A Good and Compact LensHaving already had this lens for Fujifilm X cameras, I decided to buy it for my new Sony A6700. Overall it provides the same benefits as on Fujifilm, i.e. compact, light, and sharp. It is also nice having the same f/2.8 aperture across all focal lengths. If having a light kit is important to you then I highly recommend it. I wish it was a little wider like 16mm but there are always primes for that.
- Best walk around zoom lensI'm so impressed with this small, light, bright, and sharp zoom lens. I prefer it to the Fuji Zoom offerings. The image quality is on par with the Fuji 16 x 55 f2.8 and is much better than the Fuji 16 x 80 f4. I like the faster aperture on the Sigma compared to the Fuji 18 x 55 - all for a better price.
- Perfection!This lens is well made, compact, sharp and has fantastic images. I switched over from sony full frame and wanted a small lens for my a6600. This lens is very small and lightweight. I cant say enough good things about it. The AF is also very fast. I highly recommend.
